Fiber Optic Cable as Intruder Detection System. ✅️ Principle of Operation: 1️⃣ Signal Transmission: Fiber optic cables transmit light signals, usually from a laser or LED, through the core of the fiber. These signals travel in the form of light pulses, which are converted into data at the receiving end. 2️⃣ Sensing Mechanism: In an intruder detection system, the fiber optic cable is installed along fences, walls, or underground.
